
As parties drifted apart and then toward New York City, the skyscrapers, bright lights and dirty air brought thoughts of home back to what would become the current Goldenrods lineup. Informed by an appreciation of such bands as Wilco, The Replacements, Centro-matic, and Superchunk, as well as songwriting legends like Neil Young and Gram Parsons, the four decided to give it a go again. Meeting in tiny apartments, big brownstones, and professional studios, The Goldenrods trade songs in moments off from day-jobs.
